Hi Rootschatters,
I wanted to add a second wife to a male person in my tree on Ancestry.
I was able to do that but the first one and all descendants weren't visible any more.
But by clicking on the new wife it changed back to the old one. This is not what I had hoped for.
I have seen trees that show more than one wife at the same time so how does one achieve that.
such as Billy Blogs married to Sally Jones and also Mary Tinpot.
Hope this is understandable and thanks for any ideas etc. Essnell

If you look at the icon for “the male person” you should see, in the top left hand corner, a symbol denoting a list. If you click on that it will show a list of spouses and allow you to toggle them on and off in the main tree view. I just tested this and it did work for me.
Added: this refers to tree view

Not sure whether you mean on a person's profile or in tree view. However, if on a profile, simply use the 'Add Family' button on the right hand side of the page and then choose whether it is a spouse or a child. Click on the spouse option and then complete the details in the box provided and add/save. When you next go back to that person's profile you should see this added person on the right hand side of their profile.

In tree view click the three red dots on the left sidebar, from the menu that opens select 'tree viewing options', that then opens a menu on the right where you can select 'all spouses'

Hi everyone, Thank you for your replies, all very helpful. So I can now see both of them and hopefully others can as well.
