I have found a photograph in the Coleshill Chronicle of 14 May 1955 celebrating the Golden Wedding of William and Emily Greatbatch. They are my partners great aunt and uncle. I found it on FindMyPast Newspapers but the quality of the photograph is very poor. I was wondering whether anybody can tell me if there is an archive where I might find the original photograph that would have been taken at the time?

rosie99 thank you. It might be worth a look but I suspect that will be the source of the photo on FindMyPast in which case it is really poor quality. I was hoping someone might know where the photo archive for the Coleshill Chronicle might be as opposed to the newspaper archive.

I'm amazed and deeply impressed how old photos are made to look like new by the wizards on this site?
Would it work with scanned newspaper image?

Thank you hanes teulu. Sadly I am not sure anyone would be able to do much with the photograph as clipped from the FindMyPast Newspaper Archive. I will attach a copy here so that you can see what I mean.

I had checked out the quality on both BNA and FindMyPast. It's just having seen the miracles achieved with photo upgrade wondered what the chances were?

hanes teulu you are right. Someone has improved it so much for me in the "Photographs" forum so thank you for the recommendation. I never would have thought of that.
