Thanks for looking.

My AI friend reads it as “ A Szegedi”. This is a Hungarian name.
The AI could not find such an artist, but there is a contemporary artist called C Szegedi (it’s definitely not his style).

Who is the manufacturer?
-
It just says on the bottom, "Fruit China" and it shows an indistinct crown.
Thanks for your interest. The nearest design online was from the Royal Worcester China.

Thanks for that Alan, I appreciate your interest. The Jug and pot are very attractive and I only paid £3 each for them. They are of little value which is of no interest to me as I just love the hand painted design on them and wondered who the artist might be.

Or maybe A. Igushi ?

Thanks so much for your response, It's much appreciated. I thought I could see the ending as cht and the beginning as A Jg or A and then Igbut was waiting to see what other ideas would produce.

Thank you both so much also to Gadget too for her input, it's very much appreciated.
I think the pot that I have, is a Jam Compote and should have a lid. They are beautifully hand painted and look very nice displayed on my Court Dresser.
I really appreciate your time and help.
