Title: Edward Creech circa 1785-1837
Post by: trevorwnz on Thursday 05 June 25 13:18 BST (UK)
I am trying to find the wife of my 3rd greatgrandfather Edward Creech who was buried in Manchester on 17 Aug 1837 • Rusholme Rd Cemetery, Chorlton-on-Medlock, Lancashire, England at the age of 52 giving his YOB 1785.

He may have been born in Ireland.
He had three children:-
Mary Creech 1816 born in Ireland, married 1859 in Manchester
Samual Creech 1819 born in Ireland, married 1839 in Manchester
Susana Creech 1822 born in Ireland. married 1852 in Manchester

I can't find any records of the marriage of Edward Creech or the baptisms of his three children. Can you please help. Trevor Walmsley, Christchurch, New Zealand.

You don't mention a critical detail: their religion.

Another child?

Ellen Creech attended St Martin's Sunday School 1826-1829, born around 1810, address Butler Street, father Edward. Susan Creech is listed on the same page: same address and parent.

Ellen married Robert Berry in 1836.

Ellen's eldest daughter was named Elizabeth which gives a possible clue to her mother's name.

An Elizabeth Creech died in Manchester in 1826, aged 40.

That's the Elizabeth Creech I was checking out. Collegiate records on line but 1826 not covered.

Creech is not a common name from the few checks i've done.
