Is it possible ?
Name is Herbert John Earle father Henry John mother Martha, born June or July 1874, registered in Blean but they lived in Seasalter. Parents were married at Seasalter, don't know which church.
Thanks
I just found his two sisters baps at St Alphage this was from findmypast in Canterbury Cathedral Archives
The parents married at a register office

The Blean registration district probably covered Seasalter.

Thanks for that.
I'm surprised he and his next sister in 76 don't appear in those records at St Alphage. Parents married in December 73 and say they both live Seasalter. Was there another church perhaps? Anyway I've scoured the google and didn't find anything else.

Ancestry.
Herbert John Earle joined the Royal Navy 19 January 1891 at that point he gave his DOB as 17 July 1874
Last service date 20 August 1901, although he did abscond for a time in 1900.

A tree on ancestry has his death in Sussex 1951, this is the wrong man.
Herbert Joseph Earle born Seend Wiltshire
From 1939 born 28 May 1874.

On the 1881 Census Henry & Martha with children,Herbert, Ella ,Edith, & Linda.were recorded at 3, Adelphi Terrace, Whitstable, Blean, Kent, England.( Ada not born until 1882)
Can see baptisms for Edith,July 26th 1878 and Linda April 4th 1880. Both at St Alphage ,Seasalter. Can't see Baptisms for Herbert bn 1874 or Ella bn 1876.
Looks like Henry and Martha Married at Blean Registry office 1873 not at Church.

Thanks a lot everyone, you are all correct. Am trying to find absolute proof of his birth date as he gives differing dates on every official record marriage, merchant navy etc but it doesn't look like baps for him and his sister are available then.
For clarity, I have the digital copy of birth, it's a bit skew whiff but the birth date he gives to the navy is not the birth date on it, it is the registration date.
