Title: Death of Elizabeth Jones nee Garrat Whitehaven 1800s
Post by: Whitehaven Researcher on Sunday 01 June 25 16:51 BST (UK)
Searching for death of Elizabeth Jones nee Garrat (or Garret) of Whitehaven. She married James Jones in 1814, and they had a child in 1816 (also named James) but we find James Snr re-marrying 1834 as a Widower.  Both James were Mariners, so might have been away fro England, but cannot imagine Elizabeth also at sea.. Cannot find any record of her death at all. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

There was a burial of an Elizabeth JONES (38) on 23 Jan 1829 at St Nicholas.

It's in a spreadsheet I downloaded from some (forgotten) place. :(

See "Church and Chapel Registers" here https://cumbriaarchives.org.uk/catalogues-and-guides/family-history-indexes
