Hi.
Does anyone have any tips for being able to attach an image? Keeps saying either too large or it cuts out half of the image. Trying to attach a profession from a marriage cert.

I use Irfanview to adjust sizes.

There are a number of threads pinned to the top of this board:

which should help you with this.

If you just want a small section of it, use 'snipping tool' (on a PC), or 'screenshot' (on a Mac).
One or the other of these will be on your computer.
Use it to crop a small section a bit bigger than just the bit you want looked at, so that the handwriting of this particular person can be viewed.
That should create an image less than 500 kbs - the maximum you're allowed on here.
If it's more, go to 'Save as' and see if you can save it at a slightly less 'quality' - this will bring the file size down, but get it as near to 500 kbs as you can for clarity.

So do I. It's free. Use Edit/Crop Selection to remove anything unnecessary. If that isn't enough, then File/Save for Web where you can specify the size to the maximum allowed here. I've never seen any details, but such things usually use clever tricks to avoid sacrificing clarity. They were designed to speed up loading of web pages when connections were very slow.
