Here is a Pic, from a local newspaper ,from perhaps 1960s ?,Police headquarters Shieldmuir St,undergoing Demolition. I also remember it as the Local Civil Defence H.Q.

More resent than your guess. There is an article on Friday 11 July 1986 in the Wishaw Press, about the imminent demolition.
