Good afternoon Everyone…
I have a problem. For years, I’ve been searching for the cemetery details of George Cadwallader…, with no success.
Birth… July 1791 Wolverhampton.
Military service 1813 – 1836
Died 14 June 1848 in London.
Burial 18 June 1848.
Address in 1848 – Norfolk Street, Marylebone, London.
Possible wife Ann Brooks. (Marriage 1841)
Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you…, Iain.

Burial 18 June 1848.
Does the record that came from not give the burial location :-\

If from ancestry it says burial place All Souls Kensal Green Kensington and Chelsea
deceased online has a burial record you can pay to view

DoL's free search (spell Cadwalader with only one ell) shows he's buried with 7 others, so unless it's a posh family mausoleum, it's probably a common grave and unlikely to be marked. If you really want to try with a common grave, get the list of all the names in the hope that one of them might have a headstone. But even with a plot number finding a modest private grave of that era at Kensal Green wouldn't be easy (believe me, I've tried).

Thank you everyone...
Cadwallader was a hotel doorman, so he certainly didn't have a rich background.
I was keeping my fingers crossed for the Brompton Cemetery, but I'm now more inclined to research the 'All Souls' at Kensington.
Thank you very much for your help. ..., Iain.
