Hello. I知 trying to find/confirm a record for the marriage of James O誰eill and Catherine Jessop. I have located one record that says they were married Oct 1891, Cook, Illinois.
I haven稚 been able to confirm this as it has limited information. If anyone knows if I can obtain more details about the record, I壇 appreciate your reply. Thanks as always

There's an entry for James O'Neill and Katie Jessop who married on 25 Oct. 1891 in Cook County.
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:N7XR-WJF?lang=en It says the image can be viewed at a FamilySearch Center or a FamilySearch affiliate library. I don't know how much detail it will give, but this entry at least gives their ages.

Thank you both. Yes I致e looked at that Family Search entry, no Family Search Centre near me unfortunately. Was wondering if it was possible to contact a registration dept in Cook County?
I値l keep looking. Thanks again

You can order it for a fee. This has the genealogy request form - https://www.cookcountyclerkil.gov/sites/default/files/pdfs/Genealogy%20Record%20Request%20Form_3.pdf Or this gives other options for ordering - https://www.cookcountyclerkil.gov/vital-records/frequently-asked-questions'
I don't know what exactly is on the record, but I wouldn't have high hopes of much beyond their names and ages and who performed the ceremony. Sometimes the early ones are sparse on information.
Also, if you haven't checked recently, you might want to see if there are any Family Search affiliate libraries near you, as they seem to be more plentiful than the search centers. https://www.familysearch.org/en/affiliates/about Since the last time I checked for my area, there are 3 new nearby locations, so I'm guessing that they're adding more throughout the world as time goes on.
