Title: Help deciphering Job Description

Hello everyone,

Would someone be able to help in identifying what my Great x5 Grandfathers job description was labelled on My Great x5 Grandmothers Death Certificate, he was a Seaman by all records, so I am thinking the first word is "Stoker"
