My subs on my heritage are due for renewal, I have been given a new costing of £137 and some pence to renew, if i decide not to renew what do I lose out on, will my family tree and details still be there?
It is expensive in my opinion

The renewal price changes more often than I change my socks so be prepared for offers via email in the future with wildly varying prices.
Tree size is limited with basic accounts, you will keep your existing tree but if it is larger than the 'free' limit you won't be able to add new names to it. Some people find the limit is 250, some seem to get 1000, a bit like renewal prices it doesn't seem consistent for everyone.
You won't have access to records without a subscription and can only message dna matches (and possibly/probably people you have contacted previously but don't quote me on that).

I have been online I would say for over 1,5 hours to cancel my renewal, tried the contact section, tried it all, can't even find a telephone number which I will use if it is free, nothing seemed to work, not sure if it is automatic renewal, very poor website for me, tearing my hair out!!

My Heritage sucks, I had major issues terminating our account with them.
If you have a large tree with them do download a Gedcom of your tree.
Sorry I cannot access what was our account so cannot help.

Thank you for your help, I will let you know what I decide, I certainly am not paying the cost they have come up with
