Hi Everyone
I am wondering if there is anyone that could possibly help with the translation of a Baptismal record in Greek. I am doing this research for a wonderful friend of mine here in Sydney (Aus) and I am now putting together a pedigree chart for her.
Many thanks Dianna

Dianna,
Has your friend approached their local Greek Orthodox Church?
If there is not an offer here, it seems to me that a local priest might oblige especially if it was just the one document.

Hi Sue
Thanks for that. No she has not as yet. It wil be up to me by the looks of it. LOL
I may have to go myself to the local priest near my home. We will see.
I have just sent an email to Greece/Athens to see if they can offer some other advise as well.
It's a new challenge and a learning curve for me. Many thanks Dianna

Hi jnomad
I tried twice to attach the document but it did not work. I have joined a Greek facebook group that has made thing a little easier.
I am now trying to locate the various Egyptian Census'. That will be an email to the library in Egypt I imagine.
Thanks very much for the offer to help though. Kindest regards Dianna
