Post by: izonme on Friday 16 May 25 20:37 BST (UK)
Hi everyone. I’m looking for information and a name for my  3rd great grandmother, from Isle Of Wight

Daughter is Daisy Amy Dyer
Husband is Laurence Bellringer
Father is Charles Dyer

I can’t find anything for this grandmother. Anything would be great, thanks!

Is the father’s name from Daisy Amy’s marriage certificate?  If you look up her birth registration it will give her mother’s maiden name.  Then you can look for a marriage between that surname and Charles Dyer.

Where has the IOW birthplace come from?

Red post, I'd already typed
There's a marriage 25 Dec 1910 at St Peter Walworth of a Daisy Dyer to Laurence Edgar Bellringer, her father being Charles Henry Dyer, Police Inspector.

Possible 1911 census of a Charles Henry Dyer, age 57, police pensioner and born Godshill, Isle of Wight

I suspect Emily has named her grandfather in place of a father on the marriage.
He was William.
