Hi everyone. I’m looking for information and a name for my 3rd great grandmother, from Isle Of Wight
Daughter is Daisy Amy Dyer
Husband is Laurence Bellringer
Father is Charles Dyer
I can’t find anything for this grandmother. Anything would be great, thanks!
-
Could you give more details for Daisy Amy, please - year of birth? details of marriage?
-
No dates given in opening posts. Please assist with more details.
Not many magicians or clairvoyants here at the moment. :)
-
Is the father’s name from Daisy Amy’s marriage certificate? If you look up her birth registration it will give her mother’s maiden name. Then you can look for a marriage between that surname and Charles Dyer.
Where has the IOW birthplace come from?
-
When Daisy Amy Dyer was born in October 1885 in Barnes, Surrey,
She married Laurence Edgar Bellringer on 25 December 1910. Her parents were born in Isle of Wight. Her father is Charles Dyer

Birth
DYER, DAISY AMY KIBBLE
GRO Reference: 1885 D Quarter in WANDSWORTH Volume 01D Page 644
So her mother was a KIBBLE
You can buy the jpeg image of the birth for £3 see later posts. This is not your Daisy
However 1891 census has them
Wife of Charles is Emily O, born Marston, Wiltshire about 1853
Daisy is youngest of 5 at home.
1901 Emily b abt 1853. Stratton St Margaret, Wiltshire, England

There is a baptism at South Marston 11 Jan 1852, for an Emily child of Matilda Bunce, no father.
1861 this Emily is with her Bunce grandparents in South Marston

The Daisy Amy must belong to another family.
Yes, had come to that conclusion too. Have struck through on earlier posts re the Kibble one
-
I suspect Emily has named her grandfather in place of a father on the marriage.
He was William.
-
agree with you on that baptism & census & her grandfather's name at her marriage.
