Title: What happened to Rebecca?

Hi. I, m trying to find out what happened to a Rebecca Ellis born in Wellington Shropshire 1861 dau of John and Sarah. She seems to have been "sent away into service" at 10 as she's in a census of Oakengates Shrop 1871. She's then in service it seems in 1881 in Accrington but then I can't seem to trace her. Did she marry? Or stay in service. Thanks.

There was a Rebecca Ellis who married in Madeley, Shropshire in Jul - Sep 1885. The husband would have been either Richard Griffiths or Enoch Vaughan.

Is this Rebecca with her husband Enoch and mother Sarah Ellis in 1891?  Living at Rock, Wellington, Shropshire

Rebecca Vaughan    31    Wife b Rock, Shrop
Alexander Vaughan 4  Son
Voilet Vaughan 3    Daughter

Yes it looks like it, thanks! She was obvi sent to Oakengates to live with Sarah's family and looks like she came back to marry Enoch. There's a close association with Rock and the Vaughans, perfect fit!

John is still alive in 1871 age 59. Probably died in 1877
