Hi there
I have absolutely no experience with Jersey research and would love some guidance from those who have.
I am interested in recent records. My dad's first cousin and his wife moved to Jersey in the 1950s, and died there in 2008 and 1997 respectively. I believe they had a daughter there probably around 1960.
UK research I'm on top of: if they had stayed in England I could have found their GRO records, probates/wills, electoral roll results etc. But I can't find any similar record sets for Jersey during the relevant time periods.
Maybe it's not available, maybe I haven't search well enough. Any pointers gratefully received!

Recent records can be harder than older ones because many have 100 year closure rules.
The Jersey Archive website has indexes of births, marriages and deaths but you will need a subscription to view them. It's not too dear, about £35 per year which includes unlimited downloads but as you are looking for recent records it might be an idea to browse the catalogue first - https://catalogue.jerseyheritage.org/collection/Search/advanced/archive/
Jersey certificates are eye-wateringly expensive, over £30 each and double that if you don't have a reference, which you get from the Archive indexes.
The Jersey Family History Society can do research on your behalf, they charge £15 per hour

I can thoroughly recommend the Channel Islands / Jersey FHS :D
They did some research for me some years ago I was that impressed that I paid extra!
My family were in Jersey for only 5 years or so, around the 1841 census. Mistranscribed surname, which is why I needed help!
