I am trying to track down the final resting places of two brothers, the sons of John and Sarah MANCEY.
William was baptised 0n 12 Dec 1802 at St Mary in Old Basing. He appears never to have married. I have a death certificate for him which contains no useful information other than he died on 05 Dec 1865 at Tottendown, Basingstoke. I cannot find a burial for him either in Basingstoke or back in Old Basin.
James was baptised on 04 May 1814 at St Mary in Old Basing. I can find no further records for him. I assume he died young, but cannot find an appropriate burial.
As always any help greatly appreciated.

Where have you checked for burials? Local church to Old Basing any good :-\
I take it he isn't the William Muncy Born 1804 Old Basing married to Sarah on the 1861 census
-
Or this one in 1851 born 1802 Basing married to Arabella - transcribed as Maney but could easily be Mancy
His baptism transcription is down as Mansey so plenty of alternative spellings unfortunately

Possible marriage of William MANCY (widower) to Sarah Brown (widow) 13th Sept 1859. Father recorded as John Mancy-occ-labourer. Her father Henry Palmer?
Sarah appears as a widow in 1871 census..

Looks like marriage found by SS is likely correct. If right couple.

Who was the informant at William's death, and what address.

Sorry for the belated reply, but other things have intervened. Ancestry has the parish registers for Hampshire and I have searched these. Whilst they have revealed many things, the above two burials remain elusive. I must admit that these searches have been hindered by the various and diverse spellings of the surnames.
As far as I am aware, John MANCEY married Sarah BENHAM on 18 Dec 1798 in Old Basing. The couple are, I believe, the parents of both James and William.
The informant on William's death certificate is difficult to read. My best attempt would be Lydia PICCOP, but that could well be wrong. I have tried to include an attachment for others to read, but the system appears to be blocking this action.

Sorry but it was a struggle to get the system to accept the image!

To the best of my knowledge John MANCEY died 12 jan 1848 in Old Basing [Q1 1848 Basingstoke 7 49 [81] and his wife Sarah MANCEY (née BENHAM) died 15 Sep 1849 in Old Basing [Q3 1849 Basingstoke 7 56 [73].

I'd say the information is Lydia Pickup - can see her in Basingstoke in 1851 with husband Richard and children
Confusingly they seem to be called Chapman in 1861 - but are in "Totherdown"

With the death in 1865, he might be buried in a local authority or other cemetery, besides the Churches and Churchyards?
