Title: Where is "Espress"?
Post by: mezentia on Monday 28 April 25 15:20 BST (UK)
I have a baptism for a Thomas Bill, son of Robert and Jane Bill, dated 11 November 1805. The baptism is recorded for the parish of Stanton upon Hine Heath, near Oswestry, and the parents' abode is given as Espress. The FindMyPast image is at:

I can't find anywhere called Espress in the vicinity of Stanton. Is there anyone with local knowledge who can help identify the location?

Not helping find Espress, but possibly linking the two posts. Robert Bill of Wolverhampton married Jane BARLOW  of Stanton upon HH by licence at Stanton upon HH on 06 Nov 1805. witnesses Nary Bill and Samuel Shakeshaft
