Hello all,
I do apologise if I do get something wrong, since it is my first post here on 'rootchat.com', anyway, does anyone know if there is a readily downloadable version of the Griffits Valuations besides the one on Ask About Ireland (Preferably in full). I did see one that was listed on the Internet Archive, though it has since been taken down.
I have also reached out to Ask About Ireland for the possibility of them sending out a copy via a drive (or something like that), to no avail.
Regards,

No. It would be thousands of pages and images long for all the Union's in Ireland published in different years/decades for the 32 counties of Ireland (took 17 years). There were some 160 odd Unions but 301 volumes. Volumes were identified in the various archives, digitised and indexed by Eneclann Ltd, OMS Services and The National Library of Ireland originally, back in 2003. Is now name indexed on Ancestry and Findmypast, as well as AAI (Findmypast says there are over 2.9 million records).
Download the pages you need. You can browse the images using the thumbnail image viewers on Findmypast & Ancestry page back or forward. You could do it manually for a Parish but wouldn't have the name index to go with them. Move on to the re-valuations/revisions etc.

Another downside about downloading a version of databases is that they are static as at the date of downloading.
I am sure that this database like many others, even though it records times past, will have a regular bits and bobs ie minor updates. These will be from access difficulties, spellings etc reported by users.
If you are searching from a library catalogue that accesses genealogy sites you could ask that Griffiths be accessed to the library site.
