Title: Chiddingfold 1750-1770
Post by: mickmack1942 on Sunday 13 April 25 12:40 BST (UK)

Searching the Chiddingfold PR for the period approx 1750 to 1780 the pages are
in a terrible state, but some one has added minor bits of info in to this period,
poss there is another Pr like maybe bishops transcript or other for this info to be
got from to be added, what has been added it appears there is a copy some were.

You don't say where you've found these problem registers.  From memory there are copies on Ancestry and on Familysearch, presume one set are PRs and the other BTs.

I've extracted lots of DENYERs if that surname features in your own research.

hi it appears to be the PR in ancestry and Familysearch, I tried FindMyPast with same problem,
the name is Bartlett its just that some Bp have had a few details added from some were,
looking at what has been added it appears to come form some other listing.

Regarding Denyers I have a dozen or so all in west sussex, they are in bad need of
sorting if you want or if any use to you you could help filling the gaps, i'm in the
process of cleaning the tree and giving the families some er body so to speak,
my tree is open so if one wants give it look over, poss correct any errors....

Thanks for the offer but I have enough on my plate keeping my own tree tidy, let alone anyone else's!

Ancestry has some Surrey registers in both the London dataset and the Surrey one, BTs in one and PRs in the other,   I don't know if Chiddingfold might be one of these parishes.
