Hi, Is anybody able to check to see if their is a grave marker for one of my ancestors please. The name is Horatio Nelson Hallsey who died aged just 9 months in January 1879. the transcript of the burial record on FindMyPast shows that he was buried in Gravesend and Milton. I now live in Cheshire, so if anyone can check this for me I would be most grateful. Thanks in advance.

As you have the date of burial you could try ringing the records office to check if there is any grave marker
You haven't given any details of the grave number from the burial record so anybody visiting the cemetery would not be able to find the grave

Thanks Carole I will try ringing them directly

He was buried in Gravesend Municipal Cemetery. Were you aware that it was an accidental death and there are newspaper reports of the inquest?
-
Yes I was aware of the newspaper report into his death thanks, it was that which sparked the question of where he might be buried

Thanks Jon really appreciate that. For some reason I was unable to access the burial record on the city ark website so I am extremely grateful for those records.
