I am searching for the 1921 census entry for Algernon Harry Tobutt (born in 1876 in Ruislip, Middlesex) his family are living in hackleton, Northamptonshire at the time of the census but he is absent, I’m wondering where he could be! Any info would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!

Was he married or single?
His name is probably mistranscribed, what occupation did he have?
-
He is missing at their address in 1921?
I used their Son on the 1911 Census to find the family in 1921:-
1911 - Thomas Henry Tobutt, 2, born Eastcote, Middlesex
1911
Algernon Harry Tobutt, 32, Ruislip, Middlesex.
Mark
ADDED:
I have just noticed that you have found the Hackleton address.

An Algernon and an Ellen Tobutt appear together at Great Lane, parish of Hackleton on the Electoral Register from 1920-1926 - unbroken.
A change occurs 1927-1930 when an Ellen appears with a Henry Tobutt, Stanford Road, Cold Ashby.
-
He appears under the "Absent Voters' List, Daventry Divison" in 1918 and 1919 with details of his military service.
1918 - Parish of Hackleton; Algernon Harry Tobutt, Great Lane; Description of Service - No. 35696, Pte, 307th Co, R.D.C
Ditto 1919 except Service reads "No. 3569, Pte, 69th Co, R D C

I wonder if he was in an institution somewhere? His military records (one as Henry Algernon, one as Henry) says he was discharged in Jan 1915 suffering from neurasthenia (aka shellshock). Definitely him - correct family and place of birth
That makes the absent voter records a bit odd - except it appears he joined up again in November 1915 as there's further records on Ancestry

Appears to be going under Henry on the later electoral rolls.
He's certainly gone under the radar in '21
