Nuff Said!

Are you referring to the redacted records?
-
Precisely, the parts of open records which have been redacted by incompetent redactions.
-
Is it on Anc* or FindMyPast? I have recently sent FindMyPast an ordinary correction to a surname immediately above a redaction, with an extra note.
The descender of a p is covered, it has somehow been transcribed as 'h' instead of 'p'. The result is the redacted person below with the same surname would have been unredacted three years ago if transcribed correctly. I am waiting to see if they will act on that!

It is on both FindMyPast and Ancestry
-
As it happens, that’s the version from Ancestry. The FindMyPast version is more up to date with some of the upper redactions removed. Apart from being annoyed that I’ve actually paid for “damaged goods”, I’m incredulous that someone from FindMyPast has actually been in to the file, un-redacted four people and failed to notice that part of the image is obscured.

Probably just following instructions aka A Jobsworth ;D. ;D
A bit like when they have the same surname wrong on several following entries but only change the one you report as wrong
