Title: A section or street in Bruree, Limerick by the name LOTTERA
Post by: ggwidmayer on Saturday 05 April 25 22:01 BST (UK)
Hello, I am looking for information on a section or street in Bruree by the name LOTTERA.  It appears on an 1864 birth in the Register of Births and Deaths of the Bruree district of Kilmallock, Co. Limerick. This is on page 592 Line 10 for Bridget Hodgins. See attachment.

Hi
There are townlands called Lotteragh Upper and Lotteragh Lower near Bruree. The gh is silent which would account for the different spelling  I presume it's the same place,  but it's not  a street in the village.  I wouldn't know Bruree in detail, just where it is.

Welcome to RootsChat  :)

Just adding to what LimerickLad has found-

Lotteragh Upper townland just to the west of Bruree village.
