Title: Dating of old Newcastle Photos unknown sitters- for now...
Post by: Dan_Hall on Saturday 05 April 25 11:16 BST (UK)
Hello,

I have been given a family Victorian photo album and I'm slowly working to identify the people in it. These 3 photos are on the first page suggesting they are important but they are not the owners of the album or their children. I am looking to see if they can be dated and whether anyone could help with the ages of the sitters. The first two have the same reverse, the final one was different and taken at North Shields- I think the standing lady in the third one may be the same lady as the second. Many thanks in advance.

Have a lovely weekend,

Dan

Sorry I can't offer a date, Dan, but my moving it up the board might bring it to the attention of an expert or two.

All 3 are mid-late 1870's.

Thank you! Sorry for the late reply, taken a bunch of schoolkids to Belgium. Much appreciated!
