I'll start a new thread for April, even though it looks like people prefer the weekly!

Haven't spotted any April Fools stories so far - but then I haven't been looking.
Anybody else spot any?

My dealings with the Health Service continue . . . .

Monday I have an appointment to see the "Elderly Persons" Clinic. What used to be called the Geriatric Clinic!

Next up is a Pre-Anaesthetic Check.
Then later in the month a visit to Urology, to deal with bladder stones.

This getting old lark is a bundle of laughs, eh?

Unfortunately we can't do much about it, old age just creeps up, the worst bit of getting old I find is the sleepless nights,  becoming monotonous to be honest, most nights up for at least 2 hours, ah well,

   Hi all you pill popping hippies,I become 80 this June, Never been in Hospital, until my heart attack,
   In January this year 2025,They put stints into my heart, After less than one week they sent me home,
  They put me on a course in a gym ,By Heart Start, 8 weeks at twice a week ,Tuesday & Thursday For one
   hr ,I now am feeing great, looking at buying a bike what you all think a bout  a bike??

If you buy an on road bike be careful, idiots on the road, have your thought about an exercise  bike at home?

Even a greater danger on the roads are the POTHOLES. I agree an exercise bike is safer.

I spent last week volunteering at the Isle of Man Beer & Cider Festival; where I am the Cider/Perry Bar Manager.
Monday to Wednesday was spent setting up.
Festival ran Thursday, Friday and Saturday. 12 hour days!
Sunday was Take-Down.

I get to be a barman/manager for 3 days per year, and realise why I couldn't do it as a full-time job! :D
