I'm trying to find information about an elderly couple who spent the last years of their lives in Brentford Workhouse before dying days apart in 1916. It's a long shot but in the hope some records may exist where would I be able to find them? This is a bit of London I know very little about. As far as I can tell, the couple were Irish, came to England via Wales c1870, and were settled in Isleworth from 1881 onwards.
Thank you.

Probably London Archives - which used to be known as London Metropolitan Archives.

Thank you - I'll keep my fingers crossed. ;D

Unfortunately there are no surviving records at all for the Brentford workhouse.
