Post by: wiilams83 on Tuesday 25 March 25 22:28 GMT (UK)
I’m looking for more information into the parents of the following children being

Susannah Pryce  1815
Thomas  Pryce 1817
William Pryce 1820
Richard Pryce  1822
Eleanor Pryce  1825
& John Pryce 1829

All baptized in Kerry Montgomery parents to Thomas Pryce and Elizabeth.

Your heading says "PEYCE", I assume you mean "PRYCE".  :D

Thomas is a labourer on the children's baptisms.

On John's baptism (1829) their abode is Mainstone. There is a burial for a 2 year old John PRYCE of Mainstone on 31 July 1831 at Kerry.

On Eleanor's baptism (1825), their abode is Kerry village.

On Susannah (1815), Thomas (1817), William (1820 and Richard (1822) baptism, their abode is Pant.

There are also these baptisms with parents Thomas and Elizabeth PRYCE at Kerry:

25 Feb 1810  Elizabeth (abode Treflan or Trellan  :-\)
19 Jul 1812  Mary  (can't quite read the abode)

There is also these at Llanfair Caereinion:

9 Sept 1804  Elizabeth (can't quite read the abode)
15 June 1806  Thomas (of Llanfair)
10 July 1808  William (of Llanfair)

I realise some of these names are repeated in the later baptisms at Kerry, will need to check for possible burials.

These earlier baptisms make it seem like this could be a possible marriage:

Thomas PRYCE married Elizabeth HARRIES 23 Sept 1803 at Llanfair Caereinion.

Modified to strike through
I think the Llanfair Thomas and Elizabeth PRYCE are a different family, can also see a Maurice PRYCE baptised at Llanfair Caereinion on 16 April 1819, Thomas a farmer. So not the family at Pant.

Is this Elizabeth and daughters? in 1841 living in the township of Drevor, Kerry at Shopvach??

Elizabeth Pryce 50  Born in County
Eleanor Pryce    15 Born in County
Sarah Pryce 11 Not born in County

I noticed a death in 1842 and hopefully attach it - Husband listed as Thomas although I can see him at the moment in 1841

I think "Shop vach" would be "small shop". (Happy to be corrected by any Welsh speakers)

I can't readily see Thomas PRYCE in 1841 either.

I couldn't see Thomas in 1841 originally but relooking did find a Thomas Pryce  age 60 a farmer not born in County living at Finger Post , Manllydyd, Upper Kerry, Newtown & Llanidloes

Could his family be living at the shop as Maddy suggests and Thomas be farming elsewhere in the parish??

Good luck   I think this is where Elizabeth and family were living in 1841 (at Siop Vach - Shop Vach in Welsh) in the township of Drefor/Drevor with the surrounding properties matching the census https://maps.nls.uk/view/102187652#zoom=5.3&lat=4675&lon=3914&layers=BT

The Thomas I found in 1841 is only a possibility and was living in the township of Manllywd .   This site on Genuki re the parish of Kerry/Ceri has a useful map  of the townships outlined in blue and if you click on one it names it https://www.genuki.org.uk/big/wal/MGY/  Only a mile or two from Elizabeth and family
