Please can anyone tell me the religion of St James church, is it RC or Cof E.

Peter Street does but not as it was just 1960's council flats

Charles Street I'll have to think about it doesn't ring any bells

Charles St no longer exists.

It used to be between Scotch St and Queen St (Parallel to them), running from George St to High St.

Peter Street should be, it runs parallel to George Street and High Street

Find Whitehaven at www.streetmap.co.uk

Zoom in and you will see Peter Street ... Charles Street used to cut Peter St in half.
