Title: Adding photos to Genes Reunited

Evening folks

I haven’t used GR for years and was surprised to see that I’m still able to edit my FT.

However:  when I try an add a photo, nothing happens when I press ‘upload’.  Is it because I currently am not subscribed?

I’m confused that I can edit my tree and add new data and yet can’t upload photos….help!

How large is your image?

the website states that there is a 5mb upload limit for attaching photographs to your keepsafe,

Haave you tried uplocading a smaller image?  If your image is 5Mg or larger  it means it will not upload as the uploading procedure takes up a few Mgs too.

Thanks, Rena.  I had looked at the website for info but must have missed that.

I’ll try reducing the photo sizes, but I have quite a lot I wanted to add so maybe it’ll exceed the limit.  I’ll give it some thought.  Thanks.
