Percy William Freeman (38 years & 10 months) is Squadron Sergeant Major in the "A" Squadron 5th Royal Irish Lancers. He is married and has two children aged 9 and 12 years. He has been in the A Squadron of the 5th Royal Irish Lancers for 19 years and 10 months.
He is serving in India in the 1921 Census with his fellow officers and men.
However, there are no details of his family.
I know that his wife, a school teacher, and son and daughter were in India at the time.
Can anyone advise me where I can locate the Census details for the family in India?

Not what you asked for but found this on Family Search Site. Based on his age in the 1921 (38 years & 10 months) his DoB would be roughly 1882.
Point of interest "Marital Status Unknown"
Also listed as William Percy Freman not Percy William Freeman. Might help your future search using this variant.

Hope this helps

What were the names etc of his wife & children? Can you tell us what documentation you have that confirms they were also in India at the time of the 1921 census

I recently unearthed a 1921 Indian Census entry - no mention of family even though child was born in the locale at the time. I think you will find the '21 Census didn't extend to "civvies".

I think you are correct in that the families were included in the 1921 Census.

Thank you all for your help and information.
However, it does not answer my original question: Where can I find the 1921 Census of my grandfather's family in India?
His wife, daughter and son.
We have photographs of the family in India.
I have a full Ancestry family tree with all the other information.

As previously mentioned I came to the conclusion "civvies" were not included (your original reply did confuse) -

On the 1921 image his name has been crossed out along with three others and the total at the bottom altered. This suggests they were not present on the census date. The return was signed on the 17th June and the census was on the 19th. Could they have been travelling on that date?

The "Return of all Officers and other ranks or ratings on service" (28 pages - William Freeman is on page 1) is succeeded by the "Return of all persons OTHER than serving officers and other ranks or ratings enumerated on the preceding pages" - no names are recorded.
I checked a different regiment in India (2 Batt Shrop Light Inf - 29 pages) who also returned zero entries under "... persons OTHER than ...".
