Hi all,
I would appreciate some help please in getting baptisms for the above children born in Jersey CI.
Their parents are reported to be John Prescott and Elizabeth - (late Fall)
Additionally, any baptisms for the "Algar" family who had children there from 1860 onwards please (parents Jethro John & Mary Ann.
Thanks in advance for your help,

Hi maddys52,
Many thanks for your help. I have found sofar most of the entries you listed.
One problem I have just found is that John Prescott appears to have married Elizabeth Fall in 1843 Torquay, Devon and "Ancy" member(s) say it was in 1843 Carey Street Chapel, Torquay but I have not found any proof yet. This suggest to me that it may have been a non-conformist marriage!!
Do you know of any of these marriage records?
Mary Ann Fall was John's 1st wife who is buried in 1842 and was the sister of Elizabeth Fall (Johns 2nd wife)

I can see the marriage of Mary Ann FALL and John Richard PRESCOTT (bach and spinster both of Weymouth) on 14 July 1842 at Wyke Regis by Banns (30 Jan, 6 Feb, 13 Feb).
Also a baptism of Elizabeth Jane dau of John Richard (of Weymouth, mariner) and Elizabeth PRESCOTT on 8 June 1851 at Melcombe Regis.
Will keep looking for marriage of John and Elizabeth.

That is very kind of you.
Thank you very much.

Even if it was non conformist, the marriage should still be registered. :-\
You probably have this already -

-

Mary Ann Prescott married J J Alger at St Saviour's church on 20 Oct 1864. He was born in Devon and she was born in Weymouth and was the daughter of John Richard Prescott.
On 2 Oct 1884 Mary Ann, widow of J J Alger, married William Charles Le Brun, he was 10 years her junior and by 1891 William is shown as being a widower.

Mary Ann Prescott and Jethro John seem to have had 4 children;
Thomas Elias born on 10 March 1866 and baptised at Grouville Parish Church, godparents Elias Le Vesconte and Elizabeth Prescott.
George William John baptised at Gorey Weslyan Chapel on 7 May 1868
Winona Ann born in England in 1875
Mary Ann born in Grouville in 1876
Jethro John is buried in Grouville churchyard having died in 1879 aged 37.
