Title: 1771 Marriage of Abraham BILLIAT and Sarah/Hannah WILKINSON in South Scarle

Hi Rootschatters,

Does anyone have access to the South Scarle, Notts, parish register images for the marriage of Abraham BILLIAT(T)/Billyard/Billet and Hannah (or Sarah) Wilkinson on the 25th April 1771.
They married by licence. Two births in Marnham in 1772 and 1774 give the parents as Abraham and Sarah Billiat so I want to check the marriage record (Abraham was from nearby Grassthorpe).

This entry from Freereg states that Abraham was from Grassthorp.

As Abraham was born c 1710 according to his Burial this may be his 1st Marriage;

Abraham BILLIAT 23 Nov 1747, St Wilfred, Marnham

JANE Billiat, Wife of Abraham was buried 11 Jul 1765 Our Lady of Egmanton, Egmanton

+ a Burial of WILLIAM Billiett, 09 May 1791, Marham, Son of Abraham.
Age 19
Died May 7th, Father a Farmer, abode Grassthorpe

+ SARAH Billiatt buried 10 Dec 1801 Marnham, Widow, age 67

Thank you very much for this Trish. I do have it. I find the Billiats a challenging but interesting family to research, not helped by the huge number of spelling variations!
