Is FindMyPast working for other Rootschatters??
-
Working for me
-
I've just had another try and it thought about loading for a second but then stopped again. Hmm.
-
Are you using .com or .co.uk? If .com, try .co.uk instead.
Or maybe not, .co.uk is also playing up now.
-
Definitely .co.uk.
I can sometimes get a search page up but when I press search I get a blank page.
I think they've been up to something as my tab logo has changed.
-
I have tried a different browser, and no problem logging in on that. Which browser are you using?
-
gener8
It's usually fine
-
It's fine on Google Chrome.
-
It's fine on Google Chrome.
Yes, my FindMyPast is operating OK on Google Chrome.
-
I have just used it fine, before I saw this thread - I use Firefox.
-
Using Safari I had trouble yesterday but now it is fine.
-
OK for me
-
Not working in USA, I get a blank page.
-
Blank page on Chrome but working well on Edge for me. (north east England) Never known it like this before!
-
It's been fine for me whenever I've gone in - I'm on Firefox.
-
I had been using the site yesterday afternoon without issue, then all of a sudden kept getting blank pages
I cleared cache and cookies, signed back in, then got blank page on Chrome, same on Firefox and same is with Safari on iPad. Seems Logo has changed, so they appear to have done some change, but being weekend doubt there is any support available.
-
Still OK using Safari but does not work using Opera; doing a search it says it has 4 results but when I try to look at them I get a blank page.
-
Still OK using Edge -- searches as normal both in finding and looking at them.
-
Yes - same with Firefox.
I have to admit I have never heard of Safari or Opera as web browsers. Clearly I've had a sheltered computing life!
-
The problem finally seems to have been sorted - phew!
-
Problem resolved, according to FindMyPast, Technical Team identified the issue as being related to a couple of browsers extensions, so they we able to resolve the issue.
