Title: Memory lapse !
Post by: Johnsonsyard on Sunday 16 February 25 15:16 GMT (UK)
I'm hoping for someone to shine a light on this. Some years ago I sourced a document online which gave me the information that my Grandfather Frederick Hardy was living in Copmanthorpe Road Bishopthorpe York sometime in the 1920s. Ive lost it and not sure what I did to get it in the first place. I would be most grateful if anyone has an insight on this. Thanks.

Hi thanks fircreply. Yes 1921 hevlived Sourh Bank Avenue andctes hecwas married. Have electoral registers for him until 1925.
Tried Bishopthorpe search and dont get anything ? Whick I think is a bit strange but I do know he was in Bishopthorpe after which Sunderland in 1933. I was hoping the document I had would solve the problem for accuracy of his exact whereabouts and when.

He wasn't the informant on a death cert I suppose?  That would very possibly give his address, and be easy to lose track of as it would be a record that doesn't directly relate to him.

Jane :-)
