I am researching Charles Francis Bush born Marylebone 1st quarter of 1902. Found this info. in Births index which gives the reference Vol.1a Page519. There is no indication of the parents names. I am fairly sure his mother is Louise Bush. In the 1911 Census Charles Francis Bush is living with his mother Louise Thresa Bush and Franz Nickolay. My main interest is to identify his father and to identify Louise Bush in the 1921 Census which I have been not been able to access. Any help would be much appreciated.

In the 1901 census Charles Alfred Bush has the occupation of undertaker, aged 29. Really messy 1921 census finds him as a funeral worker aged 50.
His date of birth 17th October 1871, can be found in 1939 and is still an undertakers assistant
He died

Wow. Thank you soo much for your information. It also confirms the fact that Louise was married as Bush, before becoming the "housekeeper" for Franz Nickolay. He left his wife Susan sometime between the Census of 1901 and 1911, and he and Louise had the 2 boys, Lawrence and Philip. The very new information is that of Harris. Adds some more interest to the Franz Nickolay story. Louise Bush was named as the beneficiary of his will, and I have not found any evidence of either of them gaining a divorce from their spouses. Might you know how I can obtain the Census 1921 information?
Once again, thank you for your help.

The marriage to Bessie Leaman was 19 May 1928 .
On ancestry they have his papers from WWII
Bessie was his next of kin at 102 Gloucester Avenue N.W.
The names of the children are redacted, I imagine due to the 100 year rule.
Eric C Bush born 10 May 1929 is on the 1939 register in Devon with the Leaman family. He died 1988 reg. Camden. (His entry is visible on 1939.)
Female born 1933 per GRO Index mother's maiden name Leaman

They didn't marry until the 4th quarter of 1939, the register was taken 29 September 1939, Louise was using the name Harris prematurely.

Thank you amondg,
Most interesting and another mystery is developing.
I definitely know Laurence and Phillip are the issue of Louise Bush nee Simpson and Franz Nickolay so this is the same Louise. As per a previous post Charles Alfred Bush died in 1943 so she must have divorced him in order to re-marry in 1939 to James Harris. This is going towards verification that she did not marry Franz Nickolay.

I doubt she divorced him, it was expensive and very public.
Notices in newspapers etc. from court documents of divorce decrees being granted.
