Title: 1921 Census/ 92 Balcombe Street Marylebone

The 1921 for Marylebone shows a Louise Battell as head with son Allan and a nurse child “Peggy Williams” Peggy was the Illegitimate daughter of my 1st Cousin Martha Williams ( Martha was living with her mother and sister on the Sittingbourne Kent 1921) Peggy’s birth certificate has her birth address as 92 Balcombe Street Marylebone and her mothers as 102 Boston Place Marylebone. The 1921 index seems to give 2 links for 92 Balcombe Street 1 for a family & 1 as a Nurse Institution with the head name “Louise”  would there possibly be any further information relating to the Nurse Institution? or 102 Boston Place?

Ps: Peggy was back with her mother in Sittingbourne for the 1939

Per the 1921 PO Directory, 92 Balcombe Street was occupied by Mrs Emily Louise Jones, midwife.

That’s interesting…then I’m assuming Peggy was born under the care of a midwife at 92 Balcombe Street and then moved as a nurse child under Louise Battell. Can I ask was there an address shown on the 1921 for Peggy with Louise Battell? ( have not got full copy) Many thanks
