Hi,
I'm looking for some help identifying a parish, likely in Norfolk.
It's the marriage of Edward Whitaker & Frances Chapman.
It states that Edward was of ???Lawrenset???
I cannot find anywhere of this name and am hoping that someone might know of a colloquial name it might be.
E.g. Kedington locally known as Ketton!
Any help appreciated.

Well I'd never have guessed it! Well done, heywood.
The marriage was by licence, but I'm not sure if the bond/allegation are going to be findable on this occasion.

Thanks Haywood & Jonwarrn,
I thought it had to be something like that.
What a brilliant find. I shall keep that website for further use.
