Hello everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone could help me please. I have highlighted 7 words, that I’m struggling to read, in my grt grt uncles very sad WW1 medical report.
Thank you in advance

After the first words or word:
...reaction reported...
Syphilis
...contributary stress of campaign...
melancholia
-
Wasserman reaction-
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18280907/#:~:text=The%20Wassermann%20reaction%20was%20used,extract%20of%20a%20syphilitic%20fetus.
"The Wassermann reaction was used in the diagnosis of syphilis."

The first word is Wassermann a test for syphilis, just beaten to it. :)

Thank you all for your fast replies & link, I’ve never heard of that test before. No wonder he sadly passed 23 days later.
