Hi All. Robert Andrew Brownlee and wife Ellen lived at 5 Balfour Terrace,Chopwell at 1911 census.
They had four children. My question is were they still there in 1921.I know they came back to Ireland at some point ,trying to establish when.

I can’t see them in 1921, but there are births in Wigan, Maggie B Brownlee, 1914 and Preston, Evelyn M in 1916 bith mother’s name Glass.

There's some family trees on Ancestry that are a bit bitty and lacking in evidence but suggest various of the family went back to County Tyrone

On Tuesday the 16th Mrs. Ellen Brownlee widow of Robert Andrew Brownlee passed away at her residence in Glenarney, Cookstown.
Very long obit.
Husband Robert Brownlee pre deceased her by many years. She was laid to rest at Sandholes Churchyard.
Chief mourners John and Isaac Brownlee (sons) Fred Glasgow, John Slaine, Cecil Lamont and Andrew Morrow (sons in law) then a long list of granchildren and great granchildren.

Thank you all for your efforts,had some of the information but all useful.my conclusion is the family travelled home to Ireland between 1917 and 1920 .Back to the Irish drawing board to try and pinpoint when.Thanks all again.
