Post by: Curley on Wednesday 05 February 25 20:07 GMT (UK)
Hi All. Robert Andrew Brownlee and wife Ellen lived at 5 Balfour Terrace,Chopwell at 1911 census.
They had four children. My question is were they still there in 1921.I know they came back to Ireland at some point ,trying to establish when.
Thanks for any help

I can’t see them in 1921, but there are births in Wigan, Maggie B Brownlee, 1914 and Preston, Evelyn M in 1916 bith mother’s name Glass.

There's some family trees on Ancestry that are a bit bitty and lacking in evidence but suggest various of the family went back to County Tyrone

Thank you all for your efforts, had some of the information  but all useful.my conclusion is the family travelled home to Ireland between 1917 and 1920 .Back to the Irish drawing board to try and pinpoint when. Thanks all again.
