Title: Record name
Post by: Oneday on Saturday 25 January 25 04:32 GMT (UK)
I have found a record on a census record and would like to know what you interpret the name as.

The record name I'm after is no 16.  It has been recorded as William Bay****

If it helps at all -
Record no 13 & 14 first names are Thomas
Record no 17 is Patrick Murphy

I'd appreciate your interpretation of the writing.

Attempted to bring out some detail.

His first name appears to be William at 31 years of age.

Not sure of the second name.

This post may be better moved to the "Handwriting Deciphering & Recognition" section

Might be just me but when I look at number 19, I see George  ................inson

When I look at number 16 your William, it looks the same ending .............inson

I think there is no tail on the last letter. It is the rise of the h in Murphy below.
