On Ancestry, the Passenger List of Displaced Persons has their children born in Linz, Austria

According to the Passenger Lists of Displaced Persons (1950) the family departed from Austria and the children were born in Lienz, Austria. Which means there's a strong possibility the marriage was in also Lienz Austria (or Villach) instead of Poland or Germany.

Note the passage list, mentions Naples Italy as the Displacement Camp where the family were living before imigrating to Australia. Passports were issued in Naples.

They seem to have went back to Austria after staying at the Displacement Camp in Naples. The passenger list indicates (ex) Villach Austria as their departure place.

Please delate photos and names of those still living.
The OP had another thread on the same family where naming living people was deliberately avoided.

Trove shows Olga and Wasyl as natralised 12 Nov 1959
https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/241003237/25985432

Natralisation documents may be held at the National Archive Australia up to 1962.
https://www.naa.gov.au/explore-collection/immigration-and-citizenship/citizenship-records

It apprears Olga and Wasyl's natralistion documents haven't been digitised (online), although it may be worth an enquiry to see if they're available (or when) through NAA.

There are descendants living in the OP’s rural town where Olga and Wasyl are buried in the local cemetery.
There is  an online tree compiled by a great grandson which has much detail re their origins.
Are you collating a tree for a descendant?

If the marrage was in 1949 it would be likely be Lienz Austria

Austrian marriages aren't made public until 75 years have past (which is currently 1949).

Austrian marriage indexes don't have all marriages online yet up to this date.

eg: Lienz St. Andrä index online, currently until 1948
4 churches in Villach: St. Martin index but no online record for Olga and Wasyl,  St. Nikolai the index goes to 1938, St. Jakob has an index but no online record, Heiligenkreuz the index goes to 1911, and the marriage book is to 1938.

You can always email the church contact for Lienz otherwise Villach.

Lienz St. Andrä: email: stadtpfarre.lienz@gmx.at
Villach St. Nikolai email: villach-stnikolai@kath-pfarre-kaernten.at
or Villach Heiligenkreuz: email: villach-heiligenkreuz@kath-pfarre-kaernten.at

If you haven't already enquired about Olga and Wasyl's natralisation in 1959, I was recently speaking with NAA and also asked about naturalisations up to 1962 that are yet to be online.

They said not all of the naturalisation records they hold are listed on their NAA RecordSearch database and can enquire via this form to help locate the records.
