Title: Leominster, St Peter & St Paul - William Beamand
Post by: peggypatch on Friday 29 November 24 15:00 GMT (UK)
Hello,

I have a transcription showing that William Beamand married Ann Shadwell Blades at Leominster St Peter & St Paul on 2 November 1821. William was not from Herefordshire, so I am wondering if there was any information on adode, marital status and who the witnesses were. If anyone is able to check the marriage register for me, I would be hugely grateful.

Cannot offer any details about marriage but 1851 census suggests he was aged 51 and born in Shropshire. 1841 census he is with Ann and 6 children.

Hi Softly Softly,

Yes, I'm hoping for clues as to which William Beamand/Beaumont from Shropshire he might be.

Hi CaroleW,

Thanks for the reply. Unfortuantely, that is not the right William. He married in Leominster then settled in Whitechapel, London. The 1851 just says born Shropshire, then he died in 1853. I just want to check there are no clues in the marriage record before I start working through the process of elimination for all Williams born in Shropshire around 1800.
