Bev - unfortunately not all Inquest records were retained. Only those of particular significance.

However, often the results of inquests were published in local newspapers.

I see Rabbitts is one of your surnames. There is a report of an inquest in April 1867 for a John Rabbitts in the Salisbury and Winchester Journal.

Of course could be nothing to do with who you are looking for :)
