I'm trying to find the location of Gubbinshall Farm near Finmere circa 1943. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Stephen Andrews

I don’t see any newspaper hits for Gubbinshall or Gubbins Hall in Oxfordshire. This (no hits) is very unusual for a farm – what is the evidence that it existed?

Sgt George Henry Arthur Ratbone was killed in a flying accident on the 29 Nov 1943 and the records states that the plane "Dived Into the Ground At Gubbinshall Farm Near Finmere, Oxon During A Training Flight"

There is now a suggestion that it may have been Gubbins Hole Farm at Marsh Gibbon.
Thanks,

The death was registered in Buckinghamshire.

Many thanks to all of you. The death was indeed registered in Bucks, so it does look likely that in fact the accident happened at Gubbins Hole Farm near Marsh Gibbon.
