I think this one may be for someone with a knowledge of the area because it doesn't look readable to me. I'm trying to decipher the name of the cottage in Lockerbie but it seems to be blurred or smudged and I can't improve the quality I'm afraid.
The year of the death is 1947 if that helps.

Possibly Brydon's Cottage - found on this map

I've centred the view on the outline of the cottage. It is located south-east of what looks like a roundabout.

Many thanks to both - I saw that there were numerous views of the topic but no responses which confirmed how difficult this one was!
Thanks to Little Neil for the map which I'll keep for future reference.
Was interested to see Bushlnn1746's obituary clip mentioning the name M'Fegan as the husband of the subject here was a William McFegan.
Unusual name and the only McFegan I have in 1000's on my family tree so that was really interesting too.I'm more than happy to update my tree etc with your suggestions so thanks again guys and take care!
