You don't say what type of laptop you have - Microsoft or Mac. Also, have you got a backup ?

i have intel laptop dont think i have back up

The files will still be there on your hard drive but are likely to be split up into segments. I think it's possible to attempt a retrieval but it would need a real specialist to do it.
If you've not backed up your files, that might be the only way of trying to get at them again. One of the 'techie' members might know a way but.... if there are no pointers to the files , this will be virtually impossible and the longer the time since you have deleted them, the more likely that they will be overwritten by newer info..
Sorry, it really is essential that precious /important files are regularly backed up.
I'll ask a Mod to put this query on the tech board so that the specialists are more likely to see it.

Check your recycle bin. Deleted pictures are usual put in there. If they are you can put them back where they belong. If not you would have to try a specialist programme to recover them. Lets us
know the result. Also are you on Onedrive if so your pics will have been saved to cloud.

Tomkin - the OP has said that he's deleted the 'delete box' also.

Ah! sorry I've not heard it called the delete box before. I have several programmes on my
computer which recover deleted photos but I've had limited success with them.

Software helps to recover deleted files from Hard Disk Drives formatted under NTFS.
Tool can recover deleted files if subsequent operations with the disk didn't rewrite last one.
For start recovery please press <Next> button.
From:- https://recoverytoolbox.com/like.html You want the freeware one at the bottom,
recover deleted files.
This is a free programme . Read the blurb but use at your own risk. Can't remember if it was any good. Other people might give a better solution.

raa - have you checked if the ones on Ancestry are still there. They should be. You should be able to copy them and reinstall on your laptop.

Good thinking ;D ;D ;D

Did you mean a Windows laptop?
-
Another thought - as you didn't say -
Do you have the originals - the ones that you scanned into your desktop.

raa ~
I see that you have put up a good number of images for restoration on the photo board. Did the deleted ones include these restores/datings?
If so, you could download them from here.

Hi,
You can download a program called Recuva and that may be able to restore your deleted pictures :-
https://www.ccleaner.com/recuva (https://www.ccleaner.com/recuva)
There is a quick user guide here :-
https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=recuva%20portable&mid=DFCC80F80427290A59ABDFCC80F80427290A59AB&ajaxhist=0 (https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=recuva%20portable&mid=DFCC80F80427290A59ABDFCC80F80427290A59AB&ajaxhist=0)
It would be best if you have a spare USB stick and you can download and install Portable Apps https://portableapps.com/ (https://portableapps.com/) on there and have Recuva added as a program :-)

+1 for Recouvra.
I used it on my Brothers laptop after he deleted everything.
I then spent his money on a 2Tb USB Hard Drive and copied all his recovered “D” drive, which was the store partition onto the 2Tb USB Hard Drive.

If they're still on Ancestry, he could transfer them from there.
