Title: Lt Col JAMES ROBERT KENNEDY
Post by: trevalyn on Wednesday 06 November 24 17:42 GMT (UK)
Lt Col JAMES ROBERT KENNEDY died at Paddington on 2 Aug 1917. Aged 48, he had served with 96th Berar Regiment, Indian Army. He was the husband of Katherine Elizabeth Noona Kennedy.

His name appears on the Brookwood Memorial and on the memorial at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst.

Does anyone know where Lt col Kennedy is buried?

Trevalyn - do you know that he WASN'T buried at Brookwood?

The CWG record does say he was buried or commemorated there.

The fact that his name appears on the Brookwood Memorial indicates that the location of his grave is unknown to CWGC.

I think that means he fell in battle and his body was not able to be recovered from the battlefield.

If you read the original post by trevalyn it states that he died in Paddington, London.
