Thomas Curneen was a sergeant in the RIC who was born in Leitrim and died in Drumquin, Co.Tyrone where he lived in 1916. His death was witnessed by a McMorrow and his estate willed to a Michael Curneen, his nephew.
I have researched this family for almost 20yrs and am baffled about this man's existence.
I wonder what Curneen branch he came from?

Is this the man?

The death certificate shows Thomas McMorrow as a nephew too.

I take it from that certificate that a sibling of Thomas Curneen married a McMorrow and Thomas was their son?

Do you have this woman in your research?
Margaret Curneen - father Thomas?

Do you have details of the will?
