Not sure if anyone else  has posted about this.
I also notice  that  there is free access   for Ancestry's  miltary records  from the 7th Nov to mark Remembrance Day . It may help some of you

"The digitised records will be released via the Forces War Records and Fold3 military subscription websites with an index of the records also available via Ancestry which is offering seven days of free access to its military records from 7 November to mark Remembrance Day." Quote from the above who do you think you are article

Well Explained Andy
Arneside Repository Storeroom were only Sent Soldiers Records who served pre 1920 and were Discharged pre 1920

Those who continued Serving after 1920 or served after and Discharged post 1920
their Records went to the New Storeroom that was never Blitzed
and those Records Still Exist in the National Archives awaiting Relatives to apply for.

I think perhaps you meant to post this on a different thread?
